Every December, I mean every single December, I swear that I WILL NOT be in retail next year at this time. I tell myself that this is the last time I will go through being alternately snapped at and ignored by people who have a deep-seated hatred for the people they are buying gifts for or entertaining.
Pro-Tip: When you are out and about, try to remember that it’s our holiday season, too. Be nice.

You hit it on the head. It’s ironic how shoppers seem to have a sheer hatred for those they’re buying gifts for. Yet when they hand them the gift, that fake smile comes to light.
