		<description>Other people&#039;s office gossip is ALMOST as good as my own office gossip - and since I currently don&#039;t have any office gossip, this is filling the void.

Sometimes, I think upper-management gets rid of middle-management purely to keep all you lackeys on your toes. Keep you scared. Keep you guessing. Keep you in line. You have to admit, it usually works.</description>

I&#039;ve worked in couple of places where the person brought in had a track record of fomenting discord elsewhere so that the lumpenprole would split to hopefully better places or become awash in the doldrums of morale. Then the agency/branch could be closed down since that was what the new manager was hired for.</description>
