Jesus-loving coworker said something ignorant and small-minded today, so I quoted scripture to her.
“Well, that must be from the Jewish bible. I only read the Christian bible.”

You should read IDIOT AMERICA: How Stupidity Became a Virtue in the Land of the Free by Charles Pierce. But after reading yr new blog, I doubt if you have time for extra work.
