Just yesterday I came across a very well-dressed (most of my customers are) woman in the produce section who, quite obviously, was sampling the merchandise before buying. Standing in front of a large display of grapes, she stood; cheeks puffed out, mouth furiously chewing, as she nervously eyed me walking toward her. For fun, I chose this exact moment to say, “HiHowAreYouAreYouFindingEverythingOkay?” It was only for my own amusement, as we actually encourage customers to sample anything in the store. The look of horror on her face as she swallowed no less than five grapes in one, what looked to be painful, gulp so that she could answer me was beyond priceless. I am not a mean-spirited person, by nature, but it *was* awfully funny. I didn’t call the police…this time.
