Taking a break from the sass for a quick sec to say that I am nominated for Best New Blog here. I know it is supercool to act like I don’t care, but I do. Not about winning, but about the squee-worthiness of being nominated. I am flattered that people are reading this blog, which was started only 6 weeks ago, and like it. Big thanks to RVABlogs, for listing me; John, over at Buttermilk & Molasses, for finding this blog and saying nice things about it; and VAWiFiCo, for hosting.
Now, go vote, for whomever. After all, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Nothing like adding a little intellectual sass to the RVA Blog scene. I enjoy reading your blog as it helps me realize how similar we really are, i.e. me supporting people who don’t know how to load paper in printers and you showing people how to swipe credit cards in the readers. Oh my, I think I’m aroused!

Don’t be coy. You’re nominated for two awards: Best New Blog and Best Blog. Deservedly so, I’d say.
By the way, guys, I know The Checkout Girl’s real name. The power of this knowledge is making me drunk.
